Reishi mushrooms are suitable as a calming herb for people with anxiety, sleeplessness, or nervousness accompanied and adrenal exhaustion. They contain chemicals that appear to have the capability to inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors, due to a high content of polysaccharides. Reishi is recommended as an adaptogen tonic, (adaptogen is an herb that increases the body's ability to adapt to stress and internal changing factors).

My reasons for adding Reishi to my diet, is due to my family history of cancer and my desire to attain a strong immune system , plus Reishi support blood circulation, and mine is relatively weak. Reishi are shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and protect the liver.

I add a teaspoon to my anit cancer smoothie, each day. Can be added to any soft drink of warm water to make a tea.

Do not exceed more than a teaspoon a day.
